The Thermoforming Process

Quaker's thermoforming process converts various gauges of plastic sheet; such as P.E.T.G., A.B.S., polyethylene, polystyrene and engineering grade thermoplastics, into finished or semi-finished goods. The conversion process is achieved by heating a selected thermoplastic material in a "thermoforming oven" to generate a desired "sag", vacuuming the semi-molten material onto a mold until it cools to obtain the finished shape, then cutting and fabricating the thermoformed part, through use of CNC 5 axis robotics, to required dimensions.

Quaker currently produces end products for the recreation, packaging, construction, lawn and garden and various other markets.
