What is co-extrusion?
(Key word- co-extrusion) Co-extrusion is the joining of two dissimilar materials that are chemically similar enough to allow thermal bond to take place during the extrusion process. As a typical example, flexible PVC and PVC can be co-extruded. Many window profiles utilize this technology. Another example is using thermoplastic elastomers and other polymers in combination for windshield wiper blades.
